A competition brief set by the Young Creative Network to make Bacardi more appealing to 18-24 year old guys. Bacardi released ‘Bacardi Oakheart’, a spiced rum, that is aimed to compete against the likes of Captain Morgan’s and Sailor Jerry’s for the young male market. I felt that in terms of the bottle shape/design it didn’t differ enough to their other rums which are most popular among women.
